Super Jensen!

Faster than a crawling baby! Stronger than a child-proof lock! Funnier than most late night comedians! It's SUPER JENSEN!Jensen likes to say things that make us laugh. One of the things we like to ask him is "Are you silly Jensen?" And he likes to reply, "No, I'm SUPER Jensen!" So a month or so ago I saw these pajamas and had to buy them. Can you read what it says? Yup, I'm pretty sure he's a perfect fit for the title "Captain Adorable."It cracks me up that it even has a little cape that attaches on the back! (This was our attempt at getting him to do a 'flying' pose!) Whether he's Captain Adorable or Super Jensen, we love him still the same!

The New Room

Not that the room itself is new, but is has taken on some new responsibilities. Instead of claiming to only be "Carson's Room" it has now become, "The Big Boy's Room." Jensen's bed will also have a cute blanket like Carson's...if I can ever learn to measure twice, cut once.

Turns out, all that was needed to accomplish this transformation was another bed (which we had taking up space in another bedroom)...and a new, more compact basket ball hoop. (Sorry about Jensen's blurry face, just know that he's smiling and saying "Cheese!")
So far, it's been a good move. Getting to sleep is still a little bit of a challenge, but we don't have any problems during the night, morning hours, or nap time... yet. :) And Jensen loves sleeping in his big boy bed. Now if only we could get him to potty train...

Ahh, the Fun We've Had

We really did have a great trip. We got to see so many of our beloved family members, and do some really fun and memorable things. And despite having such an extended trip (especially for me and the little boys) we didn't feel too worn out (until the last day or so!) Thank you to our family who put us up, and to those who made time to see us.

Here's a little bit of our time in St. George=And we had a lot of fun in Salt Lake, too!Definitely a lot of fun. Now back to sleeping in our own beds and getting into the old routine again!

Fun with the Fam

We love getting to see our extended family. Since we only live close to Dustin's parents, it's not very often that we see the majority of our family. This weekend we had fun hanging out with my brother Mark and his family. (Next weekend we'll get to see even more of our family- hooray!) We especially have fun with these cousins, since they are closest in age.
They had fun doing an Easter Egg Hunt together.
(I love watching Carson and Drew together- they are only 2 months apart and they are so funny!)Family Easter picture...pardon my huge pregnant-ness.

We also went to see "How to Train your Dragon" (which was awesome!) and we went to the Johnson Farm Dinosaur Discovery site. (Which I thought was cool, but the kids didn't really get it, and it was a bit over priced for what it was.) But the kids did like the coloring and gift shop! :)Dustin and I also got to see our good friends the Ereksons, who just happened to be in here too and wildly enough just a few minutes away! (Sorry that your picture is not here Andy, I couldn't get it to work...and you looked like a psycho drunk guy anyway.)

Dying Eggs

This is actually the first Easter that I've attempted dying eggs with my kids. (First of all, because they can be such a huge mess- especially with little helpers. Secondly, because we don't eat hard boiled eggs- bleh!) But I saw the coolest idea on a friends blog that showed how to make simple tye dyed eggs. Plus, Grandma and Grandpa (and some other relatives) will gladly eat them come Easter dinner!
Obviously, the boys had fun and we only had one egg fatality (Jensen didn't quite understand the whole "gentle" idea!) And it was a breeze to do and clean! Thanks Kim Dover for posting how to do this!

Yup, there's a Baby in there.

I was afraid I was going to have to leave the post at the title.

Our ultrasound nurse got a good look at all the baby's essentials, heart, head, brain, arms, legs, stomach, lip, but could not get the little munchkin to reveal any further "personal" attributes.

(And might I add, it is so disheartening to look down at your big belly and hear that your baby only weighs about 10 oz.!)

So when she stepped out, I got out a snack and scarfed it down, in hopes of jolting the kid with a little sustenance.

I guess it worked, because as soon as the doctor showed up, he immediately asked if we were wanting to know the gender because he could tell.

Apparently, that leg that was tucked up under the bum had moved enough to give us a clear view.

Yup, I was right.

And we're very excited. No names yet... and don't expect to hear one soon. (That's going to take a little time and deliberation.) Right now, I am most thankful that I do not have to repaint our adorable blue nursery!

Bla Bla Blog

We haven't had much to blog about. But tomorrow we are going in for the big ultrasound. So stay tuned for that.

And just for a little extra flavor in this post- I couldn't resist taking this picture.(These boys just make me smile...even the big one.)
