Okay, so I still feel very new to this blogging thing, and although I have read on other peoples blogs about being "tagged" I had yet to experience this. Until now. So here are the rules:
1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.
2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name).
3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.
4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name.(Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)
Conveniently, my middle name is my maiden name, and subsequently, the name we are giving to the child still kicking into my ribs! Unfortunately, I'm going to have to be creative, since I've got not 1, but 2 repeating letters!
J - Journal writer. I used to be a good journal writer when I was a kid, and I kept pretty good records in high school, but I dropped off into silence for several years, until this past fall when I set a new goal to get back on track and start recording the workings of my life and the hilarious things Carson says and does. We'll see what happens when Jensen comes!
E - Efficient. I like to think that I'm a pretty good muli-tasker, and I always try to find myself doing something productive. I don't like to waste, time included, and although I drive my husband nuts sometimes with this, it's been very beneficial to me, and us.
N - Nails. I've got nails as tough as...well, nails. I've never been a nail biter because they're too thick to bite through. I love my nails. Thanks for the good genes, Mom.
S - Snoop. I will admit, I have been a snooper for years. Whether it's the conversations of complete strangers, or riffling through stuff to find Christmas presents, it's something I almost do unconsciously. And I recently found out that Dustin is quite the snoop himself - ahh, true love.
E - Early. Or at the very least on time. I really hate being late to anything. I stress about it if I think I'm not going to be 5 minutes early to something! Just ask Dustin what kind of mood that put me in on Sunday morning when we had 9:00am church.
N - Nearly born at home. Since my mom had fast labors, she ended up having my older brother Jeff at home, but didn't make the same mistake twice when it was time for me to make my grand entrance into the world.

4 More Weeks to Go
It's hard to imagine that we're going to have another baby in the house (move over Dustin!) in a few short weeks. Since the only pictures that I have of my pregnancy with Carson are at my brother Jeff's wedding, I knew I needed to do a better job this time around. Fortunately we have plenty of things to take pictures of because of Carson, so I've come out ahead this pregnancy. This is the most recent photo we have. I took it just so that I could put it in Jensen's scrapbook. I wanted one toward the end of my pregnancy (never a good picture taking time, I'm discovering!) and I wanted my boys in it with me.

Happy Anniversary to Us
It's hard to believe that we've actually been married for 6 years now. Where has the time gone? My parents always send us a gift card to go out to eat (thanks Mom & Dad, we love this!) and a funny thought came to me as I read the inside of this gift card holder. "Man, we could have saved ourselves a lot of money, time and trouble if we had just thought to get Dad one of these for his 60th last year...." (Just kidding Dad!)
But seriously, on our anniversary, I just wanted to tell Dustin how much I love him. Thanks for loving me through thick and thin! Happy Annniversary Babes.
Trail of Lights
For Family Home Evening (or as Carson would say, "Happy Foam Evening) this week we went to Zilker Park's Trail of Lights. The crowd was managable, the weather was just right, and Carson never once asked to get out of the stroller! It was great. We even got to try some fried Oreos this year - pretty darn good. Thanks to all our friends who shared the evening with us.

Camping for Christmas
A Short Time Later...
Of course, Carson is 2, so it survived for about 5 minutes. It was fun while it lasted. (And we're glad we got these pictures when we did, because after cleaning up the mess, Dustin decided it would be fun to spin Carson around in a chair and then let him run around all dizzy. He thought he was doing pretty good, until he ran straight into the corner of a door jam, giving him a lovely dark bruise on his already large and prominent forehead. Thanks a lot, Dad.)
