Last night we had our first pack meeting where they did awards. We have "pack meetings" in the summer, but it's just all fun stuff.
Anyway, since it had been several months, and Carson had attended Cub Scout Day Camp, as well as turning 9 and moving into Bears, Carson had quite the meeting. Our pack does a face painting tradition when scouts advance into another pack.

And this was the pile of stuff he came home with! This mama has a lot of patch sewing to take care of. I guess we had better get him a scout belt, too. He might not have enough room around his waist for all the belt loops he earned.
It was fun for Carson to receive all these things for all the work he put into cub scouts during the past several months. I hope he continues to enjoy it, that he might use this for good in his life.
